Peter Fiore means rock flower :)
Back to work and life after the Travis Workshop. I went for a walk yesterday evening and I took along a camera, just in case. I often think why am I bothering to bring a camera with me -- it's just the backyard, or it's too bright or too dark -- and I'm almost always glad I did. Last night, the wild Mountain Laurel had dropped most of their flowers and they were scattered about the forest floor like little bits of light. I thought this single flower in the stream was especially beautiful. I've lived here 12 years and I've never seen that.
This is absolutely amazing. Nature is so amazing and surprising. Paint this one!
ReplyDeleteI'm having a great time in Maine and taking lots of pictures.
Hugs, Frankie
Rock flower, eh? Why can't my name have such dichotomy? Or even be spelled right?
ReplyDeleteThanks Frankie! That is so true. Nature does alway surprise. I love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd Graig, I don't know what to say, so for you, I say nothing.
