Radiant on a cloudy day

Another walk at a favorite spot. This time I left the path and headed into the fields. It was an overcast day and a few seed pods were freshly burst, others were matted and lying down. It was surprisingly beautiful -- especially on a cloudy day when the colors become so luminescent. The clouds act as a big reflector and throw soft light into all of the corners.
