Wedding Cake
Congratulations Mary Ann and Michael!
Peter took this photo of my dear friend Mary Ann and her husband Michael at their wedding yesterday. He shot it from our table with my little point and shoot camera. I loved the light and candid quality of it. They could just as easily be making lunch at their kitchen counter as sharing a piece of their wedding cake -- so domestic and sweet, I love it.

Rock Flower
Peter Fiore means rock flower :)
Back to work and life after the Travis Workshop. I went for a walk yesterday evening and I took along a camera, just in case. I often think why am I bothering to bring a camera with me -- it's just the backyard, or it's too bright or too dark -- and I'm almost always glad I did. Last night, the wild Mountain Laurel had dropped most of their flowers and they were scattered about the forest floor like little bits of light. I thought this single flower in the stream was especially beautiful. I've lived here 12 years and I've never seen that.

Towpath
While everyone was hard at work at Peter's workshop, I snuck off for a long walk on the towpath along the Delaware Canal. These are a few of my photos.

Rice's Flea Market
Tables of murano glass pendants
I slipped away from Peter's workshop to explore Rice's Flea Market -- Socks, nail polish, purses and everything else you may or may not need. I think it is the hottest day of the summer!

The Road Not Taken
Take it!
I walked down this hill through the tall grass on the left, unaware of the road on the right. When I turned around to take this photo, I immediately thought of Robert Frost's poem, The Road Not Taken. I hadn't read it in years until this morning and now I wonder if it is about individualism, as I had always thought, or about the decisions we make in life, one way or another. Read it again and let me know what you think.

Moss Mugs
A trio of Moss Mugs
Moss mugs on the go
Happy Fourth of July weekend! I've been making these moss mugs for friends and family and now they are available at The River Gallery in Narrowsburg, NY and also at The Upper Mill Mercantile in Milford, PA. A pair of Moss Mugs look great outside on a table between 2 chairs or as a fun center piece for your patio table. They're easy to take care of and love shade to partial shade. Ask for them by name, "I want a Moss Mug!"
