John, Peter and Mike discuss photography in the studio
Artists John Ennis and Mike Garland stopped by Peter's studio today. Peter showed off his setup for photographing his work. The loft in his studio is permanently set up for photographing paintings. For those of you who are interested, he uses a Canon 5D with a 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. He has 2 flashes, photogenic strobes lights with polarized lighting gels and a polarizing filter on the camera lens to dial out all of the glare. Pretty cool.
