SVA Junior Thesis Show '10

Lisa with her work

Paul and Peter

I can never resist feet and legs against a gallery floor

Congratulations to Lisa and all of the third year illustration students at the School of Visual Arts who did such amazing and inspiring work for their Junior Thesis Project, "Classical Myths Transformed". Lisa's symbolic still life paintings of Hera, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hades and Poseidon are so moody and lush and beautifully painted. We are so proud of her! It was a fun night.

Easter Bread Class

Hot Cross Buns with very subtle crosses

Easter Egg Bread, so festive and so very curious

I took a class today on making bread for Easter at the Patisserie in Milford, PA. It was very fun and delicious. Our fearless teacher, Rachel Crampsey was excellent and the class was really great and fun and delicious, did I say that already?
