Rain and Rain

Spring has sprung all over the place!

I delivered 5 new paintings to the Travis Gallery in New Hope, PA for the upcoming Anniversary Show. Boy was it raining. The whole east coast is gushing water out of holes, over grass and rocks, across roads and into the bulging rivers. The Anniversary Show runs from April 17th through May 29th with an opening reception on Saturday, April 17th from 5-8 pm.

Salty and Sweet

Have you tried my shortbread?

Peter's favorite annoying question to ask his kids is "Have you tried Barbara's shortbread?" Insert eye-rolling here. We don't know why he likes to ask it, but he does. I think it's a not so subtle way for him to talk about his favorite cookie, shortbread. Here's a great recipe for shortbread from Martha Stewart.

Bone Digger

Not what you might think

Now that the ground is soft again, Fiesta has been busy rehiding all of her rawhide bones. There is always a pile of mud on the end of her nose that I am constantly wiping off. Silly girl!

Ipswich, MA

We drove up to The Churchill Gallery in Newburyport, MA to deliver 2 more paintings -- Late Winter Marsh and Meadow, Late Day December. Two large, beautiful paintings that look stunning in the gallery. We have a busy week this week, so we turned around and drove home. 12 hours later....

Road Trip

Diet Pepsi, Peter's favorite nectar

A last minute road trip took us to Cazenovia, NY to the Stone Quarry Hill Art Park. Peter will be participating in a show there in April and with the break in the weather we thought we should get his painting there. Upstate New York (They would correct me and say Central New York) is so beautiful and I'm sad I didn't really take any photos. More details about the show to come.
