Bucks County Painting Workshop

Here are a couple of photos from Peter's August workshop at Bucks County Art Workshops. I have a lot more photos, but it is taking me forever to go through them, so I decided I'd post these two and move on.

It was a great week. The students learned a lot and we met many nice people from all over.

Rain and Rain

Spring has sprung all over the place!

I delivered 5 new paintings to the Travis Gallery in New Hope, PA for the upcoming Anniversary Show. Boy was it raining. The whole east coast is gushing water out of holes, over grass and rocks, across roads and into the bulging rivers. The Anniversary Show runs from April 17th through May 29th with an opening reception on Saturday, April 17th from 5-8 pm.

Peter's Opening

Peter's show at the Travis Gallery opened this last saturday evening and was a big success. There was a large crowd and a number of paintings sold. We're all sure there will be many more sales by the end of the show. The work looks amazing and will be there through Thanksgiving weekend. If you can make it, you should definitely go. If you want to be a true patron of the arts, buy a painting! You will enjoy it every single day.

Before Peter's Opening

We're staying at a small inn along the Delaware in Lumberville, PA. Peter's opening at the Travis Gallery is tonight and we're both looking forward to it. I went out for a walk along the tow path at sunset to get a little fresh air and exercise before we leave. We've been in the car a lot these last two days exploring. This is a beautiful area.

Paintings Delivered

We delivered Peter's show to the Travis Gallery in New Hope, PA today. I meant to take photos of us packing and unpacking the van so that people could see that half of being an artist is being a pack mule! Maybe it's best we keep that to ourselves.
