This is my deer friend who is always hanging around. I used to worry about how the deer ate everything that I planted. I no longer worry about it and enjoy their presence.

Peter took this photo for me on the fly from the car -- such an idyllic scene. The deer are out everywhere lately. I guess they know they're safe, at least for a little while.

A Visit From Deer Baby

Deer Baby looking for food

We just got back from lunch and found deer baby under the bird feeder looking for food. He adopted us earlier this winter after the first big storm. He and his mom come around to check what's under the feeder and to get an occasional handout after snow or ice storms.
